Warwickshire Probation Trustis monitored by the HM Inspectorate of Probation. The Trust produces a Strategic Plan and Annual Plan based on the results of these inspections, and key performance statistics which outline how the Trust is performing against national standards.

THE BUTLER TRUST

The Trust identifies and celebrates the achievements of people who work in the UK Correctional Services who have shown exceptional skill or initiative in their work with offenders.

They include not only members of the Prison, Probation and Criminal Justice Social Work (CJSW) Services, but doctors, teachers, librarians, volunteers and others.

WREP consists of voluntary, community and public sector members to work in partnership to tackle racial discrimination and promote race equality.

Warwickshire Race Equality Partnership (WREP) is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity. It's objectives are:

  • to promote equality of opportunity and good relations between persons of different racial groups
  • to relieve the needs of those who have suffered racial discrimination by the provision of information, advice and support

LAGIP

Warwickshire Probation Service supports the work of LAGIP. LAGIP is the staff association for Lesbians, Gay Men, Bisexuals and Transgendered People working in Probation and Family Courts. LAGIP work closely with NOMS to ensure Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender people are represented at the highest level.
